Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Paulo Dybala, with reports suggesting the Juventus striker will pen fresh terms in Turin.

The Argentine has recently emerged as a top target for the Red Devils who raided the Bianconeri for £89million Paul Pogba last summer.

Jose Mourinho is planning to freshen up his forward line in the summer with Zlatan Ibrahimovic approaching the end of his career and Wayne Rooney's future increasingly uncertain.

But Italian outlet Calciomercato report Dybala, 23, is set to sign a new contract with Juve.

Manchester United and England’s all-time record goalscorer, now 31, is in the autumn of a career that began 15 years ago, when he broke onto the scene as a teenager at Everton, writes Mirror Football's Alex Richards.

"Of course, when you get a bit older you start to think a bit more about the game and it's something I'd like to do,” he told Football Focus.

"My whole life has been around football and the minute I finish playing I'll try to stay in the game. Hopefully I'll get the opportunity to manage.”
