Seasonal players who have distinguished themselves during the season will be awarded tomorrow at a ceremony at the Hilton hotel in Yaoundé.

Reward time came after nine months of competition at the Cameroon Professional Football League (Lfpc). The best players who have emerged positively during the season in both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 will be rewarded tomorrow, Saturday 1 October 2016. It will be during a ceremony dubbed Lfpc Awards 2016 at the Hilton hotel in Yaoundé from Of 7 pm.

This will be the 3rd edition of these Lfpc Awards. One will discover the successor of Joseph Mbah Yanki, the best player of Ligue 1 of the season 2015. It is known of office that Cedric Kaham, the injured Lion striker of Fotouni, finished top scorer of the league championship 1 with 12 goals. That's three less than Julien Ebah Tobie last season. In Ligue 2, Kamla, the striker from Ngaoundéré University, finished the season as top scorer with 21 goals.

Apart from these known categories that are not likely to be debated, the suspense will be lifted on the other categories tomorrow, during the ceremony broadcast live on Canal 2 international. For the other categories, the results will be given after the deliberation of a jury established for this purpose. For the best player (golden balloon) 2016, the match will be played between Joël William Tchuameni, Bafang Unisport forward, Loum Ums Arouna Dang, Yong sport academy Jude Kongnyuy, Harry Ako Oru des Astres Of Douala and Abdoulaye Alingar, the defender of Aigle royal de la Menoua.

The jury will decide on the basis of the criteria contained in the Lfpc Awards rules. Here, the designations as best players during the games of the season have been counted. But, the jury will also consider the votes of the public on the website of the League. In the case of a tie, for example, the number of goals scored, the total playing time during the season and even the disciplinary situation of the nominees are taken into account. The selection board shall decide only on the basis of the criteria laid down in the Regulation.
